RESIDENTIAL Real Estate Appraiser – SAINT JOHN New Brunswick

Appraisals (Fundy) Ltd. would like to entertain applications for a career minded individual to join our long-standing Firm located in the Saint John Region of Southern New Brunswick. An opportunity exists for the ideal candidate who is a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, preferable currently practising as a Fee Appraiser or a related field with a commitment to fulfill the educational requirements for certification or accreditation and remain in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

This position would expose the new associate to a vast scope of assignments and responsibilities associated with day-to-day practice of residential and small scale multi-residential assignments. The responsible individual will be given a select territory for practise within our service area which would be expected to yield a compensation of between $65,000 to $100,000+ annually, depending on experience and efficiency.

Appraisals (Fundy) Ltd is an independent consulting Firm providing reports and studies associated with real property for individual clients including Private Clientele, Banks/Credit Unions, Private Lenders, Government Institutions including the Accounting and Legal Professions. The Firm has been operation since 1969 completing work throughout the Maritimes within our Downtown office environment, complete with a support services. Over the years we have been fortunate to be involved in all forms of appraising and consulting matters, including residential, multi-family, commercial, industrial, institutional uses.  Our workload continues to evolve and the segment of residential appraising within our practise can offer a successful career in the fee appraiser industry.

Qualified candidates will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Be licensed and own a vehicle
  • Be a member in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada, (AIC)
  • Willing to enroll or have completed courses credited with AIC
  • Familiar with software programs, primarily word, and Excel
  • Strong analytic and writing ability
  • Efficient time management
  • Strong Work Ethic and Self-motivated
